Our best hope of increasing social mobility, of reducing inequality, and of raising the standard of living for all citizens is a thriving, growing economy. As a consultant at a women-owned small business and as an MBA graduate, I’ve seen first-hand the opportunities that arise from small business and the important role that government plays in the business environment. I will support policies and legislation that reduce tax burdens and unnecessary, unpredictable regulations. We must remove the barriers to business so that we can bring more jobs to Maryland. We need to bring back skilled labor, encourage the tech industry, and find ways to bring opportunities to economically disadvantaged areas across Maryland. Infrastructure that enables people to access these jobs must be maintained and improved. Since the beginning of Governor Hogan’s administration, Maryland has added over 130,000 jobs! Let’s keep Maryland open for business!
